The first sub of FMA episode 5 came out almost 9 hours ago, raws, which I depended on for several shows which get subbed at an incredibly slow pace, are no longer being downloaded, and requests can sometimes take several days to get processed. I'm seriously considering just canceling my subscription and going back to downloading torrents for the few hours I can each night, because at least then I'll have some consistency. Am I being unreasonable in wanting things immediately? Maybe, but it didn't used to be this way, and that's why I'm annoyed now.
Is this just a temporary inconsistency, or is this the way it's going to be for a while, and is there anything I can do to help you out as a software developer with 7+ years of experience? I'd really prefer not to have to go back to torrenting the files myself, but if I have to I will. I've been very pleased with your service up to now, and I hope to continue to be a customer.

is the raw or the actual fansub not being downloaded?
> and requests can sometimes take several days to get processed
there hasn't been any requests in a while. i don't check the forums every hour. if you would like a request added asap, email it to dowxp@downloadanime.org ; that's the fastest way
let me know how else I can help.

I guess what it boils down to is not that FMA2 episode 5 (subbed) wasn't downloaded until much later, but that this seems to happen fairly regularly, where the torrent shows up on tokyotosho.info and then I don't even see the file until the next day on the FTP (if at all). Throw in the fact that you've seemingly stopped downloading raws, and the convenience of being able to go in a few hours after the show is subbed/released raw and downloading it disappears. And that's really what I'm paying for - the convenience to download the files rather than having to torrent them. At the very least it would be nice to know what feeds you are using for torrents so I know where I should be looking if I'm waiting on a particular file.

after some investigation, i found out why. tokyotosho.com is no longer valid. the rss feeds were therefore invalid, thus nothing was being downloaded. this has been fixed. i hope you understand. from tokyosho's website: 2009-04-20 Regrettably, our domain owner (not me) decided to self-destruct the domain. In the mean time, please use our alternate domain, tokyotosho.info Tell your friends, family, and pets about the new domain!

Please also keep in mind that official policy is for UNLICENSED anime ONLY to be on the FTP... Tho this fullmetal fangirl won't complain if FMA magically slips through the cracks...
then perhaps you might want to keep a close eye on the new release directory.. You wouldn't want to miss any of those, hypothetically speaking, cracks.
