Everyone one around knows that I happen to be a huge fan of Milf ero-anime. Unfortunately, I just caught the Vanilla release of Musuko v.1, a much anticipated Milf ero that just came out.

It has to be the worst adaptation of a game ever. The character designs look like Digital Works didn't even look at the eroge to make the series.

A couple of pictures for comparison . . .

Anime ............................... Game

I was so looking forward to this coming out, Now I won't even waste my time. . .

I know they are not going to exact, but this is pretty bad. The quality of the animation is one of the things that I really hate about Digital Works/Vanilla Series. If I didn't own & liked the eroge it's based on, I might have a little different opinion about it. This one and another one from a few years back, the ero made from Selen's Aniyome (aka My Brother's Wife), really kind of set me off about their quality. If companies like Milky can do a reasonably good job, the eroge/ero Ringetsu being a good example, Why can't Digital Works/Vanilla?

Hmmm this has been adapted by "Vanilla", that much is said already.

Pretty much anything that has come out of them has been crap for ages now. Poor character designs, cheap animation, looped scenes, I mean the list can go on.

I always keep wondering how on earth Vanilla still stay in business with the way they do things.

I just watched the second episode, and the quality compared with the game is still bad. However, I was surprised at which ending from the game that was used . . .

BTW, It's already licensed at will come out from Kitty in August, the English title will be Cougar Trap, released on 8/25/2009. If this can be licensed for R1, Why can't Aneimo or Tsuma to Mama to Boin get licensed (at least they are Milky properties and Milky does sometimes license stuff unlike Pink Pineapple (Hatsu Inu) & Pixy (Ane Haramix)). . .

I guess that is how Vanillia stays in business then. They tend to get their stuff licensed alot easier and it's no wonder when you look at all the past titles they have released.

That's a lot of it, almost everything that they produce get a license . . .
