Lingeries has a great plot, fantastic character designs, and very explicit sex scenes. It was licensed in 2003, but has unfortunately gone out of R1 production.
A run down of the episodes . . .
Episode 1 - As Yusuke Nakanishi begins his new job at the Best Beauty Body Lingerie Company, little does he know that he's about to find himself in the center of a ring of business and sexual intrigue. Charged to disrupt and eliminate the cohorts of an opposing faction, Nakanishi thrusts himself on the prowl after three of his sexy co-workers around whom this sex drama spirals. His first target: Alice Nonoyama, an indentured sex servant who's forced to submit to the perverse whims of her bosses and clients. Can he win her heart and keep himself in the clear while the bewitching Rena looms menacingly?
Episode 2 - Having struck a vexing blow to his enemies at the Best Beauty Body Lingerie Company by freeing Alice from her sexual enslavement, Yusuke Nakanishi continues his strategy against the opposing faction with in the company. His rues: a new design for the perfect seamless underwear. For his schemes to succeed, he needs the help of Chisa Sakurai, a hapless computer engineer embroiled in the company's dark politics. To enlist her, Nakanishi must not only give her the means to discover who's hacked into R&D's network, but he must break through her coy resistance and expose her true hardcore wantonness. Can the noble Nakanishi come to this slut's rescue, finding that his pen is as mighty as his "sword?"
Episode 3 - Nakanishi successfully got himself in with all the right women at the Best Beauty Body lingerie company, and was well on his way to exposing the corruption of the middle management. Moreover, he'd finally conquered Rena, the minx in bed with the conspirators, and the designs and promotion for the new line of Seamless Lingerie were a huge hit. Everything is going smoothly until Nakanishi is brutally scandalized by a shocking office email. Will Nakanishi succumb to his enemies' designs, or will he prevail in getting them out while getting himself laid?
One of the interesting things about this series is the fact that it was it's director's one and only foray into ero-anime. Katsuhiko Nishijima was a noted anime director before and after doing this series. In the past he has done such series as Project A-Ko, Graduation, Gunbuster, Labyrinth of Flames & Urusei Yatsura. Also he created the manga that Agent Aika & Najica Blitz Tactics is based on along with directing and producing the animes for the series. Currently, he is overseeing the production of the AIKa R-16: Virgin Missions OVAs that I am very fond of.
Lingeries is a type of ero-anime that we don't see enough of. In the last couple of years, probably only Enbo (Taboo Charming Mother) and Ringetsu come close to what was done in Lingeries. It's too bad that we don't see more series like it in the genre.
