Favourite gaming genre....

RTS/Online RPG....for me

Nothing beats the feeling of commanding a entire army... or raiding a hard boss place with a group of friends...XD

I'm not that good at strategy games :heh: Though that doesn't stop me from getting pwned at it every now and then with friends.

I'm actually a fan of FPS (first person shooter). Specifically Quake3 online. Other games I just play single (for certain technical reasons :oso:)

I mostly play RPG, Strategy, Action, Adventure, First-person shooter, and Racing games.

The only game that gets addicted for me is Xenosaga series. Now that's a game that never gets old for me.

Xenosaga? the main character is Fei? Oh, this is a good game, although it's pretty long winded when you're almost at the ending..

Yes, RPG ftw :victory:

RTS for me biggrin.gif
Also like RPG's, but they bore me faster than RTS's

I also like match based RPG's where you start from level 1 at the beginning of the match (got into this through DotA). Most are mods for RTS's, but thats all the better seeing as you can make maps easier smile.gif

Entirely depends on my mood and how much time i have,
generally i like strategy, and RPG's, though when i don't have much time FPS's are great.
don't like racing and sports sorts of games.

Whatever genre the Zelda games are (RPG? unsure.gif ) is what I like to play.
I'm addicted to Zelda :fangirl:...and will buy any kind of Nintendo product I have to in order to play a new game. mellow.gif

I am not a good gamer...so games that require skill or fast reflexes I suck at...and don't like as much. T_T

I also liked two Hamtaro games that came out for the GBA.

oldest zelda was platform like mario ^^
and the 3D mario games (64 and all the stuff after that I didn't play) are also considered platform games ^^ (at least in the circles I hang around in, could be considered a different genre in America)

No, the oldest Zelda was an action RPG. Hell, it INVENTED the action RPG genre. You're probably thinking of the second one which was a side-scroller. I think it was the only one where Link could jump manually.

My genres: adventure, RPG, fighting

ah yea, got the 2 mixed up T_T
I think it's because they released the second one first in the netherlands.
Though the first one didn't really have allot of RPG elements

I love certain FPS games, namely True Combat Elite
normal shooters are alright but I really prefer the ones that involve tactical strategy, makes clan warfare all that much more in depth.

Other than that RPGs all the way, but not MMOs...
The Diablo series will always hold a special place in my heart as an action rpg

RTS games are good too but the only ones I really play are the Age of X franchise

Mainly FPS with some driving, flight sim, and RTS mixed in. RTS can be fun, but I don't like the constant micro-managing and rush to upgrade that most games have.

I don't like fighting, MMORPG, RPGs (besides KotOR), platformers, or sports games.

have you tried Mechcommander series? its a lil old now but i liked it. its RTS with out teching or resource collection. you get to pick your starting units and thats what you have to finish the mission with (and any enemy mech you happen to capture along the way).

although I like the Mech Warrior universe, I found ground control to be a better RTS with the same mechanic (starting army and do it with that)

RPGs are my main staple. Both turn based (like FFT/disgaea), and the norm (FF).

I also enjoy RTS (can we say Star/Warcraft?), and FPS games (it started with Doom!). I dont mind the occasional platformer.. but i'm a failure at jumping.

I guess the only games i really dislike are sports and point & click games.

It would have to be a MMORPG because they are so addicitve and you can share your experiences with many users at the same time.

I put RPG because my favourite games of all time have all been RPG (morrowind, oblivion, deus ex). But I don't like most RPG's that are out, and the games I play most are FPS and RTS.
