Synopsis from mangaupdates:

By a bizzare coincidence, Tsukune Aono has accidentally gotten himself admitted to a youkai acadamy, a school attended by monsters (youkai). Just when he thinks he'll run away from there, he meets the beautiful girl Moka and his mood turns ultra happy. However, she transforms into her true form when the rosary on her chest is taken off, she's a super vampire!

Not a bad manga. It's not exceptional or anything, but it's entertaining enough. It does have some very typical shounen moments, but the artwork is good enough to keep me reading. :heh: And the plot thickens in volume 4 and onwards.

The manga is much better than the anime season (as usual). They are really going to cut some interesting parts from the manga.

13 episodes is not enough.

I also like the manga better.

Hmmm...I don't think I've seen the manga in stores here...even though it says it's been licensed by Viz.
I'll probably buy it when I do.

meh, the SJ translations tend to be to americanized for my tastes T_T (no offense to american people, but more like they removed any trace of it ever being japanese aside from reading right to left. A fact that you have to be reminded of on EVERY PAGE for EVERY VOLUME)

dun really have a choice though. Anyway it should be better than what Dark Horse did for the Oh! My Goddess manga... i'm hoping they will stick to "Moka-san" instead of changing it into some lame stuff like "Miss Moka" or something...

all in all the best ones are Del Rey, Dr Master and Kana (a dutch/french publisher)
those tend to give the best translations and leave the important parts untranslated (like honorifics)

U consider the current anime as being true to the manga?? For manga fans of the series like me the anime is nothing short of a disaster in terms of storytelling.....
