Removing static from videos

okies smile.gif here's the deal. Using the ever so amazing vixy.com to download videos from youtube, i got a host of episodes with really nice video quality on my computer. Only problem is the audio is extremely staticy (it was also staticy when streaming). I can convert the .flv files into anything, but how would i get rid of the static? happy.gif help is appreciated happy.gif

If the static is always there, it may be clipping. Try lowering the volume on the player & windows & your speakers to less than 90% and see if it goes away.

nope, tisn't clipping, i tried smile.gif it may be the audio quality or filter used >_<

are there like stripes? then its interlacing problem.
