Hi, I've downloaded some anime series over the past few days but I'm having some problems with them. When I play them on my laptop the audio is crackling and the music is louder than the voices, which I can barely hear.
But if I play it on my PC (not my laptop) the audio is perfect. It's strange, the 2 computers have the same codecs and I've been able to play other video files on my laptop.
Can anyone help me?

crackling... could be audio and video not syncing up. You could try using a better codec suite like the CCCP.
The music sounding louder than the voices.. that could normally mean that your laptop is playing video with multiple channels (4.1 , 5.1 , etc) using just 2 speakers. Depending on your media player, you'll have to specify that audio must be downsampled to 2 channels.
