Mai Aizawa is voicing Yumemi for the tv series?! NOW I'm pissed! Haruna Mima did well in voicing Yumemi in the OVAs! She made Yumemi extremely adorable too >=O

I've decided to watch the OVA instead of watching the TV series. There's not much of a difference for the remake though. Only added scenes. =/

Yeah, you told me the last time, but I was curious to know how the 1st episode started ( Note: I did watch Munto OVA for the first 20 mins).

When I've read that article....I was like "oh ok, then I'm not going bother to watch this series for 13 episodes long, instead of OVA that's only 2 episodes short. Besides, the animation is still the same."

The TV series will continue the story of the OVA since it ended with a cliffhangar...

In other words, even if you watch the OVAs, you still have to watch the TV series to know what happened next. Right now, they're just remaking the OVA eps. After that, they'll proceed where they left off last time in the second OVA.

The ep 1 of the TV version was alright. There were a small amount of new scenes included in it that wasn't present in the OVA. I still have to get used to the new VA of Yumemi .

I guess. Ah well, after all it's been a long time ever since Munto OVA came out in almost 6 years ago, so we can't expect most of the original VAs who are doing this remake.

I like how the story is being told and I LOVE the art style for the girls The Heavenly dudes are DBZ'ish, but I don't care as long as the animation stays at this level (or gets better ofc )

It seems it would take 3 episodes to actually finish OVA 1. Basically, the continuation of the OVA 2 won't start until ep 7 T-T

Dunno how awesome the OVA animation was, but TBH if it was that good, you can never expect anyone to have a budget so big to make a entire series with said quality

I didn't say it fully sucks (not like Akikan! >_>). The animation still looks great, especially if it was for 2003.

I'd rather find the OVA's quality animation better than the TV series imho. But hey, at least I'm glad they released this remake or whatever, cuz they left a cliffhangar on OVA 2. Plus, I gotta love the OP.

Well, if you have watched the Munto OVA II then its VERY obvious how much they toned down the animation.

I still love the TV version though. Anyway, be thankful that you guys haven't seen the OVA yet. It lets you appreciate the TV series more =D
