Rarely known fun fact: Ice tea is neither ice, or actually tea. It's actually from a small fruit found on the tip of Antarctica. It fruits, guarded by the jealous IceTeaWeebie Tribe, are actually quite difficult and expensive to obtain. As a result, some wayward and tea-addicted fanatics in the 1750s decided to dump bags of dirt into warm water in protest. After letting the water cool, they loved the concoction so much--or rather, the placebo effect--that they patented it and mass produced it.

That entire "Boston Tea Party" thing during the American Revolution? It was actually a virual campaign. And by the fact that we drink ice tea nowadays shows you how effective that campaign was.
