it was the original size on V3 hence there were a few complaints, but it is a big size indeed....

In the sig menu it says "Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 175 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller)." Is it because of the update or did the sizes change?

I care about sigs more than 200 tall, long enough to stretch the window, or with excessive lines of text. in other words unless it's really huge (wasn't there some n00b with like 1500x1600?) or has content issues (too ecchi, offensive, etc) admin/mods are probably too busy to bother with it. 200 is my HARD LIMIT, for TEXT AND PICS COMBINED. absolutely positively nothing taller than this whatsoever. other than that, it should be more like 150-175 x 500-600, with a couple lines text maximum, but I'll look the other way for minor bending of the rules if no one is seriously abusing it. If we have to get strict again on sigs we will, so behave yourselves if you like to be able to bend slightly.
